Year of
the Rat
How Bill Clinton Compromised U.S. Security for
Chinese Cash
by Edward Timperlake and William C. Triplett

Here is what the authors have to say --
"Our thesis is simple: The Clinton
administration has made a series of Faustian
bargains and policy blunders that have allowed a
hostile power to further its aims in Washington. In
the main, Bill Clinton and Al Gore did it for
money...
"In these pages, we will show that, in order to
gain and hold on to power, the Clinton
administration has acted recklessly, allowing the
wrong people to gain access to our most important
political and economic secrets. Any number of
Chinese arms dealers, spies, narcotics traffickers,
gangsters, pimps, accomplices to mass murder,
communist agents, and other undesirables will
appear in these pages, all associated in one way or
another with the White House and money...
"Did the Clinton administration sell out
America's national security to one of this
country's leading and most dangerous adversaries
merely to raise campaign cash? In the pages that
follow, we will prove our answer, which is:
yes."
If you think this is the mere rantings of
right-wing conspirators, think again. Edward
Timperlake is on the professional staff of the
House Committee on Rules dealing with national
security. William C. Triplett is the former chief
Republican counsel to the Senate Foreign Relations
Committee, with thirty years' experience working on
China and national security.
And, after all, what is really important? It is
the evidence brought forth. Does the evidence stack
up? Can it be verified? Do the pieces of the
evidential puzzle fit together? Is the thesis (the
conclusion) justified in light of the evidence
presented? That's what counts!
The American public seems to have its head in
the sand when it comes to the Clinton matter
(really, matters, as there are so many ethical
questions about the Clinton White House). This
"matter," at least, isn't about Clinton's sex life.
This is about possible treason at the highest
levels of our government.
You may conclude I am no supporter of our
President. You are right. I think the man should do
the honorable thing - resign. Bill, Hillary, and
the rest of their gang have brought disrepute to
the presidency. I have a difficult time listening
to the "spin" and the downright illogical arguments
of Clinton supporters such as Paul Bagala, James
Carville, and Ann Lewis. My head dances from one
logical fallacy to another and I cringe at the
thought of these people promoting their
intellectual insanity over the media.
If, after readingYear of the Rat, you
still think the Clinton administration is "one of
the most ethical in American history" (as Bill
promised it would be!), then you need some
philosophical reconditioning in a first-class
commonsense philosophical realism treatment
center.
Much of the information reported in this book
has not been available before to the public. It
includes some previously classified documents. The
authors have done a thorough investigation,
including combing records in Hong Kong and visiting
a Macau criminal syndicate figure. They have
interviewed dozens of witnesses, both here and
overseas. In short, they have done their
homework!
The evidence of corruption is staggering:
- Bill and Al got themselves elected in 1992
and again in 1996 on foreign money, much of it
from sources hostile to the United States,
including some money from Chinese brothels, for
heaven's sake!
- Chinese campaign cash resulted in policy
shifts beneficial to China and harmful to U.S.
security.
- Nearly one hundred potential witnesses to
the Clinton-Gore illegal foreign campaign
contributions have either fled the country or
taken the Fifth Amendment.
- A half-million dollar check to Clinton's
legal defense fund led to Clinton's complete
sell-out of Taiwan in July of 1998.
- Johnny Chung, Charlie Trie, John Huang, and
others involved in the Clinton-Gore fund-raising
scandals won influence in the Clinton
administration with cold hard foreign cash.
- Hillary Clinton and Ron Brown helped John
Huang gain access to vital American policy and
economic intelligence. (Of course, Brown isn't
around anymore, is he?)
- And more, and more, and more.
This is an eye-opening book, believe me. This
book offers serious evidence that Bill Clinton and
his associates not only lied to the people of the
United States, but betrayed them to potential
enemies.
But, then, what can one expect from the man who
denied:
- Smoking marijuana, then changed his mind,
but didn't inhale;
- Dodged the draft, then lied about it until
he was caught in his lie;
- Denied having a sexual affair with Gennifer
Flowers and then, admitted it when caught later
in his web of lies;
- Lied to the television camera in front of
everyone of us about the Monica affair,
admitting it only when he was finally caught in
his lie;
- And on, and on, and on.
If you think I'm too harsh with the president,
think again. I was one who thought Richard Nixon
should have gone to prison and I never forgave
Gerald Ford for granting him a pardon.
I believe no one, including Bill Clinton, is
above the law. There are at least 118 people who
have been convicted of lying (committing perjury)
in a federal civil case, including quite a few who
lied about a sexual affair or encounter. So much
for those talking-head lawyers who claim perjury in
a civil case is never prosecuted.
I urge you to purchase and read this book, along
with the others we have listed in the Bookstore
about the Clinton Administration, which is sure to
go down in history as one of the most corrupt (if
not THE most corrupt) administration in the history
of the United States.
If I sound angry, the fact is I am angry. The
American people deserve better than Bill and
Hillary Clinton. The book may be titled "Year of
the Rat." But what does the word "Rat" refer to?
Maybe a year in the Chinese calendar? Or maybe the
book should have been titled "Years of the Rats,"
with those occupying that big white house on
Pennsylvania Avenue being the "rats." That may be
more appropriate.
Let me put it bluntly in this Age of Political
Correctness. There can be no doubt that at least
this presidency is "ethically challenged"!
Enough said.
Now buy and read the book.
