Curry County, Oregon, our home base, is located in the extreme southwest corner of the state of Oregon. Port Orford was the county seat until 1859 when it was replaced by Ellensburg, later renamed Gold Beach. Port Orford, however, is the oldest townsite on the Oregon coast. The Radical Academy is proud to offer books about Oregon and the Oregon Coast. We are a very happy member of the Southwest Oregon community. We chose to settle here and to have our main office in the town of Port Orford in Curry County. We want to share the delights of our region with you.
