Be Ye Dumbfounded
When Jesus rose from the dead that first Easter
morning His disciples did something rather
unexpected. They freaked out and then ran back into
hiding. Even though He had told them on several
occasions exactly what was going to happen to Him;
even though they had seen Him raise the dead,
command the weather, walk on water, give sight to
the blind, etc., etc., etc.; even though the very
first time they had met Him three years earlier,
they had believed and said all the most profound
theological truths about Him that anyone can
believe (John 1:29, 41, 45, 49)
